Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual/Functional) to join our Quality Assurance team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, mobile application testing, defect management, and end-to-end test execution. This role requires close collaboration with developers, QA leads, and offshore teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities Perform manual testing for new features, enhancements, and complex business scenarios. Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. Conduct end-to-end, regression, smoke, sanity, and functional testing. Validate mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. Review bugs and testing tasks submitted by offshore QA teams before assigning them to developers. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. Follow up on critical, high-priority, and blocking issues to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and QA team members throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks. Support release validation and production verification activities. Prepare and share weekly status reports on testing progress and quality metrics.

Required Qualifications 3 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Manual Testing. Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies. Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect management. Experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms. Strong expertise in regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and end-to-end testing. Experience in defect tracking and bug reporting tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or similar tools. Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot application issues. Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience testing web and mobile applications in Agile environments. Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and QA best practices. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
