Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and configuration of integrated Clinical Information Systems (EMR, RIS/PACS, Nuclear PACS and Voice Recognition Tools) within all clinics in the respective region.

  • Integration and End to End Testing of integrated Clinical Information Systems (EMR, RIS/PACS, Nuclear PACS and Voice Recognition Tools) within all clinics in the respective region.

  • Creation and configuration of new workflows and reporting templates within the organization's integrated Clinical Information Systems (RIS/PACS, and Voice Recognition Tools).

  • Configuration of network connectivity between modalities and Clinical Information Systems (RIS/PACS and Nuclear PACS) within all clinics in the respective region.

  • System maintenance, and performance monitoring.

  • Support for clinic staff, radiologists and cardiologists, in all aspects of Clinical Information System user access and training.

  • Support for clinic staff, radiologists and cardiologists, in all aspects of Clinical Information System troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Development and maintenance of training and technical documents.

  • On-site assistance and support for Network and Security, as well as other IT Support Initiatives within clinics in the respective region.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Medical Radiation Technology and/or Computer Science from a recognized institution, or an equivalent combination of education and training in both Radiation Technology and IT.

  • Certification as Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in RIS/PACS and/or Nuclear PACS Administration preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with RamSoft, PowerScribe360, Oscar EMR and Thinking Systems a definite asset.

  • Thorough understanding of radiology and cardiology imaging workflows.

  • Knowledge of trends in radiology and cardiology imaging relating to information system administration.

  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.

  • Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.

  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Strong customer focus with demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.

  • Good organizational skills, including project management and the maintenance of records.
