About the role
Network Analyst – Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Support the operation, administration, maintenance, and modernization of enterprise network infrastructure within a secure, high-availability airport environment. Provide hands-on support for LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, routing, switching, and firewall technologies supporting mission-critical operations. Install, configure, integrate, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), and Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs). Monitor network performance, system health, capacity, and protocol compatibility while identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents affecting wired, wireless, remote access, and security infrastructure, escalating issues when required. Administer and support Fortinet (FortiGate) firewall environments, VPN gateways, and secure remote access solutions. Support and maintain Extreme Networks switching infrastructure and wireless mesh networking environments. Execute scheduled maintenance, upgrades, patching, system tuning, and operational support activities to ensure network stability and availability. Monitor security platforms, firewall logs, intrusion detection systems, and network alerts to identify risks, anomalies, and performance issues. Conduct routine security audits and contribute to network security, compliance, and infrastructure hardening initiatives. Utilize SolarWinds NPM, SolarWinds Operations Manager, Wireshark, and related monitoring and diagnostic tools to manage network health and performance. Maintain accurate operational logs, technical documentation, network diagrams, procedures, and enterprise ticketing records. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, airport tenants, airline partners, consultants, and vendors to support business and operational networking requirements. Strong knowledge of networking technologies including VLANs, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel, IP Routing, NAT, VPN, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, IPsec, and enterprise wireless networking. Eligible to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), with reliable transportation for daily onsite work within a secure airport environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience supporting Fortinet security solutions and Extreme Networks switching and wireless infrastructure. Experience working in mission-critical, highly secure, or 24x7 operational environments. Knowledge of ITIL standards, service management processes, and operational best practices. CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Wireless, ITIL, CAMP, or related industry certifications are considered strong assets. Previous experience mentoring team members, supporting infrastructure projects, or participating in network modernization initiatives.
