 About the role Join the Information Technology team, in the Specialist, IT Business Analysis position. In this role, you will work as a subject matter expert in business analysis, leading complex, high-impact initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. You will define solution approaches, lead requirements development, and ensure alignment with enterprise, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards while collaborating across teams to deliver compliant, value-driven solutions.   What you will do:  

Lead requirements elicitation and analysis for complex initiatives using interviews, workshops, process mapping, and data analysis. Define and challenge current and future state processes, business rules, and solution options to drive innovation and alignment with enterprise goals. Establish and maintain requirements traceability, quality standards, and business analysis best practices across projects. Define solution approaches, including options analysis, trade-offs, and recommendations, in partnership with Product Owners and delivery teams. Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, and security teams to ensure solutions are feasible, compliant, and aligned with standards. Lead stakeholder engagement to influence decisions, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment across business and technology teams. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable value. Drive data and process improvements by identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and KPI-based performance tracking, while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

  What you should have:  

An undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). At least 5+ years of experience in business or product analysis within IT projects or product-based environments. A proven expertise in requirements management, process modelling, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support. Strong knowledge of business analysis methods and tools (e.g. DevOps, user stories). Hands-on experience working in Agile, Scrum, including backlog refinement and prioritization. A solid understanding of D365 CRM, GSL and ERP. Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts and support decision-making, and a working knowledge of governance standards such as cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility, and records management. Bilingualism (English, French).

  Technologies:  

Business analysis & delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart for BPMN/process mapping).  Agile, testing & governance frameworks.

  It would be great if you also had:   

Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile credentials (e.g., PSPO, CSPO, PMI-ACP). Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and Government of Canada standards, including accessibility and security guidelines.
