Bridge Northwest is inviting enthusiastic and motivated staff to join the MEDITECH Expanse Training Team as Local
Trainers and Super Users. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a region‑wide digital transformation supporting
colleagues, strengthening patient safety, and building skills that extend far beyond go‑live
Individuals selected for these roles will play a critical part in preparing staff for success by delivering training,
providing at‑the‑elbow support during go‑live, and assisting through stabilization.

Roles and Responsibilities
Local Trainer
Local trainers are responsible for delivering standardized end user training and ensuring learners are confident using
MEDITECH Expanse.
Trainers will be responsible for:
* Successfully complete all required online learning modules.
* Attend Train‑the‑Trainer sessions to develop knowledge related to the training plan, curriculum, and instructional
methods.
* Facilitate End User training sessions in classroom settings and/or provide one‑to‑one instruction and support.
* Maintain accurate attendance records for all training sessions facilitated.
* Monitor learner engagement, participation, and comprehension throughout training sessions.
* Identify and escalate concerns, issues, or questions through established processes.
Superuser
Super Users support learners during training and go‑live by providing hands‑on, in‑the‑moment assistance and are
experts in their departmental workflows.
Super Users will be responsible for:
* Successfully completing all required MEDITECH Expanse learning modules.
* Attending End User training sessions.
* Serving as roamers during classroom sessions, circulating throughout the room to assist participants.
* Assisting participants who:
* Experience technical issues.
* Become *lost* navigating the system.
* Fall behind during hands‑on activities.
* Create barriers to learning for others.
* Supporting trainers by answering questions that arise during sessions.

Selection Criteria
Trainer Criteria
Experience teaching, coaching, or supporting peers
Confident communicator
Comfortable learning technology
Available during training delivery
Super User Criteria
Strong understanding of day‑to‑day workflows
Patient, calm, and supportive
Trusted resource within their team
Available during parts of training, go‑live and stabilization
Time Commitment and Expectations
Staff selected as Local Trainers or Super Users will be expected to commit time and active participation throughout
several key phases of the implementation of MEDITECH Expanse.
Selected participants will:
* Complete required system training from November‑ December 2026.
* Participate in system testing and training content validation activities prior to end‑user training to ensure workflows
function effectively within their areas.
* Support the End User training period from January to March 2027, including active involvement during classroom
sessions and hands‑on learning activities.
* Be available to provide enhanced support during the go‑live period.
* Participate in At‑the‑elbow support for staff during go‑live and the post implementation stabilization period from April
Due to the critical importance of these roles, participants should anticipate active involvement, up to full time work,
during training preparation, go‑live, and early stabilization.
Managers will be engaged to help support scheduling and operational coverage as needed, where possible.
