About The Role

The Intermediate Frontend Developer plays a vital role within our technology team, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing user-facing applications that are both engaging and highly responsive. This position involves collaborating closely with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and robust web interfaces that enhance user experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating design mockups into clean, efficient code, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices. They will also contribute to system improvements by integrating frontend components with backend services via RESTful APIs, optimizing performance, and maintaining high standards of code quality. Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience in frontend development within the Financial Service industry Intermediate level experience in developing robust web applications Strong proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 Solid experience with SQL databases, including query writing and performance tuning In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture Proficient with version control tools such as Git for collaborative development Familiarity with backend technologies like .NET Framework / .NET Core for effective integration Experience or familiarity with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) with MVVM pattern is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user-facing applications utilizing modern web technologies, ensuring high performance and responsiveness Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean, maintainable code Integrate frontend components with backend services by consuming RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and optimize data retrieval processes Write and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality and performance Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of frontend applications Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adhere to best practices Utilize version control systems like Git to manage codebase effectively Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals Identify system enhancements and technical improvements through analysis and interpretation of code and application procedures Support and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions and recommendations Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, especially regarding data security and privacy
