Join our team as a Software Product Owner where you will be responsible for driving product delivery at the team level by managing and prioritizing the team backlog, setting sprint and product increment goals, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical direction, and customer needs. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with development, QA, solution design, business, portfolio, and UX stakeholders to translate priorities into clear, deliverable user stories and guide the team toward high-quality outcomes. What You'll Do: Own, manage, and prioritize the team backlog to ensure alignment with product strategy, technical roadmap, and business objectives. Translate business needs, customer feedback, and product priorities into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items. Define sprint goals and support the team in delivering incremental value during each iteration. Participate actively in SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, iteration planning, backlog refinement, system demos, and inspect-and-adapt activities. Collaborate with Product Management, Portfolio, Solution Designers, Business Analysts, UX/UI, QA, and development teams to shape, refine, and deliver product capabilities. Ensure backlog items are well understood, appropriately sized, sequenced, and ready for delivery. Make informed product decisions at the team level and provide clear prioritization guidance to the development team. Break down larger features or value streams into smaller, deliverable increments of value. Support the alignment of testing, quality, usability, and delivery expectations across teams. Validate delivered work against acceptance criteria and ensure outcomes meet business and customer expectations. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them. Promote continuous improvement and contribute to Agile maturity within the team. What You Bring: Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, preferably within a SAFe environment. Experience managing and prioritizing a team backlog. Ability to translate business and customer needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Strong collaboration skills with technical, business, QA, UX/UI, and portfolio stakeholders. Good understanding of software development lifecycle, quality practices, and product delivery. Ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, risk, and delivery capacity when prioritizing work. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to make decisions, provide direction, and say no when needed with clear business rationale. Experience participating in PI Planning or similar cross-team planning activities is an asset. Assets: Experience working in a SAFe or scaled Agile organization. Knowledge of Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent. Familiarity with product roadmap planning, feature decomposition, and dependency management. Experience in software product delivery, digital solutions, or enterprise application development. Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.
