Join us in shaping the future of mobility. Our AV Diagnostics team is building the next generation of autonomous vehicles , going beyond ADAS to deliver fully integrated, intelligent driving systems. Autonomous driving depends on the seamless integration of sensors and computer systems. Your work will directly influence the reliability and safety of these platforms, impacting millions of future and current customers and setting industry benchmarks for autonomous technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of systems engineering activities with a strong focus on diagnostics

• Ensure engineering deliveries are compliant with government regulations, such as OBD II, system safety and GM best practices

• Provide diagnostic oversight and act as primary point of contact for concerns and questions related to system/component(s)

• System Technical Specification development along with FMEA analysis will be fundamental aspects of the position

• Lead peer reviews to ensure compliance to requirements

• Communicates information to both internal and external customers

Required Skills

• 3+ year of experience in requirements development, software development, integration, verification or testing, or implementing ISO 26262 and ASIL standards .

• Exposure to integrity-based diagnostic design principles, FMEA and systems thinking

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• 3+ year of experience developing hardware and/or software diagnostics.

• Experience with vehicle grade integration of SoC, MCU, diagnostics infrastructure and other platform related components.

• Ability to read/understand source code (C/C++) and Simulink models

• Knowledge of 1968.2 OBDII Regulatory requirements

• General knowledge of automotive systems (Active Safety, Powertrain, Chassis, and/or CAN/LIN communication).

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $164,600. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Responsabilités principales

• Diriger tous les aspects des activités d’ingénierie système avec un fort accent sur le diagnostic.
• Veiller à ce que les livrables d’ingénierie soient conformes aux réglementations gouvernementales, telles que l’OBD II, la sécurité des systèmes et les meilleures pratiques de GM.
• Assurer la supervision des diagnostics et agir comme point de contact principal pour les préoccupations et questions liées au(x) système(s)/composant(s).
• Développer les spécifications techniques du système ainsi que réaliser les analyses FMEA, éléments fondamentaux du poste.
• Diriger les revues par les pairs afin de garantir la conformité aux exigences.
• Communiquer efficacement l’information aux clients internes et externes.

Compétences requises

• Plus de 3 ans d’expérience en développement d’exigences, développement logiciel, intégration, vérification ou tests, ou en mise en œuvre des normes ISO 26262 et ASIL.
• Connaissance des principes de conception de diagnostics basés sur l’intégrité, FMEA et pensée systémique.
• Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite.

Compétences souhaitées

• Plus de 3 ans d’expérience dans le développement de diagnostics matériels et/ou logiciels.
• Expérience en intégration de composants de qualité automobile tels que SoC, MCU, infrastructures de diagnostic et autres éléments de plateforme.
• Capacité à lire/comprendre du code source (C/C++) et des modèles Simulink.
• Connaissance des exigences réglementaires OBDII 1968.2.
• Connaissances générales des systèmes automobiles (sécurité active, groupe motopropulseur, châssis et/ou communication CAN/LIN).

Rémunération

La fourchette salariale pour ce poste est de 115 000 $ à 164 600 $. Le salaire de base offert au candidat retenu variera en fonction de facteurs pertinents au poste.
