 ABOUT THE ROLE The CEM Equipment & Lease Manager is key in the high-level control and improvement of mobile equipment assets in Canada Cement. The incumbent will drive changes and improvements to the current process and extend benefits across Canada cement manufacturing & logistics. An intimate knowledge of Amrize systems and SAP applications is required for the role. The incumbent is responsible for the high-level management and control on the mobile equipment assets and the leasing process to support the Cement business. Reporting to the Capex & Lease Performance Manager, the incumbent will not have any direct reports. It is expected that the incumbent will develop a network of Plant-based personnel that will assist, as needed, in the management of the mobile equipment assets.  This will include onsite meetings and delivering training as needed.   WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Asset Lifecycle & Inventory Management: Own, maintain, and audit the master equipment list across all locations to ensure data accuracy, identify end-of-life assets for replacement, and pinpoint relocation/reuse opportunities. Procurement & Sales Agreement Stewardship: Lead the equipment procurement and sales agreement process for both new and used equipment, managing the approval workflow and maintaining the central document library. SAP Equipment Setup & Data Maintenance: Manage SAP system integrity by setting up new equipment, creating functional locations, and updating key asset details (e.g., asset numbers, plate numbers, driver names, and job cost billing info). Preventive Maintenance & Meter Coordination: Establish and maintain PMR schedules, set up PM and ZFUE orders for new or transferred equipment, and coordinate unit meter reading corrections and measurement points. Compliance, Registrations & Documentation: Oversee vehicle registrations and permits, provide asset count documentation for SAP updates, and supply HR with requested driver information. Equipment Disposals & Transfers: Coordinate the disposal of surplus equipment and facilitate internal transfers by executing necessary SAP updates and completing asset forms for NABS entry. Lease Portfolio & Pipeline Management: Own the master lease list and library, collaborate with Procurement and Finance on new proposals, and work with local management to assess lease impacts on regional budgets. Lease System Administration (MENDIX & REFX): Administer lease tracking systems by loging new leases and transfers in MENDIX, validating REFX payment schedules, and aligning leased assets with equipment lists monthly. Lease Lifecycle & Renewal Operations: Prepare monthly lease renewal lists, coordinate with lenders for renewals and buyout documentation, process buyouts (including requesting new assets), and ensure proper deactivation of expired leases. Financial Reconciliation & Reporting: Complete monthly account reconciliations for major lease vendors and clearing accounts, identify and correct coding errors, and generate monthly leased asset reports.   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelor’s Degree or practical experience. Field of Study Preferred: Technical Engineering or Business.Required Work Experience: 10 years of experience and a good understanding of business segments. Required Technical Skills: Experience with MS Suite programs, REFX System, Mendix, and SAP Systems. Travel Requirements: 30%   Additional Requirements: 

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to plan systems development to drive process forward. Must be able to work with initiative and employ good analytical skills. Must be able to travel to support Plant locations. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
