The person in this role plays a strategic leadership role in the evolution, performance, and long-term sustainability of the enterprise applications that support Simons' business operations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO), this individual defines the technology strategy for the enterprise application portfolio, leads high-performing teams, and drives the evolution of application platforms to support the company's growth, innovation, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Define the technology vision, priorities, and roadmap to ensure the performance, stability, and continuous evolution of the organization's enterprise application portfolio. Lead the teams responsible for application development, application support, systems integration, and operations while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute strategies to modernize application platforms, reduce technical debt, and proactively manage technology obsolescence. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO) and business leaders on technology strategy, investment decisions, risk management, and opportunities to enhance enterprise solutions. Oversee relationships with technology partners, strategic vendors, and managed service providers, while managing departmental budgets and ensuring effective resource allocation. Build and strengthen the organization's technical capabilities to ensure long-term expertise, succession planning, and support Simons's continued growth and digital transformation.

Desired Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including at least five (5) years in a management or senior leadership role. Demonstrated experience managing mission-critical enterprise platforms, leading large-scale application modernization initiatives, and driving technology transformation programs. Strong understanding of complex enterprise application environments, including both legacy systems and modern cloud-based or integrated platforms. Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through organizational and technological change, with strong strategic thinking and influencing skills. Experience managing technology partners, strategic vendors, and large-scale operational and capital budgets. Recognized for a results-oriented mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to solve complex problems while delivering measurable business value. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
