The Role:

The Master Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of master item data across corporate systems. This role is central to maintaining high-quality data standards that support effective supply chain planning, decision-making, and compliance with governance policies. The steward works closely with cross-functional teams—including Planning, Procurement, Commercialization, IT, and Finance—to facilitate data accuracy throughout the product lifecycle, from commercialization to program changes and legacy data management

What you get to do:

  • Facilitate accurate entry, validation, and maintenance of Master Item data in corporate systems in alignment with established data governance policies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for data governance standards, ensuring compliance across functions.
  • Monitor and audit master data regularly to identify anomalies, duplicates, or incomplete records, driving timely resolution.
  • Perform automated or manual entry of master data into ERP, MRP, and related corporate systems.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to improve automation, workflows, and integration of master data processes.
  • Cleanse, repair, and standardize data to eliminate non-conforming elements and ensure consistency across systems.
  • Participate in the commercialization process by preparing and updating “benchmark” templates for new product setup.
  • Support program change processes, ensuring accurate and timely data updates to prevent disruption in planning and supply chain activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain seamless data transitions during product introductions, changes, and retirements.
  • Vanguard company data integrity by creating and executing audit queries, enforcing adherence to data standards.
  • Maintain ongoing data cleansing initiatives, including remediation of legacy nomenclature and structural anomalies.
  • Develop and document processes to continuously improve data accuracy, timeliness, and usability for planning and reporting.
  • Partner with supply planning managers, demand planning, and systems specialists to ensure data supports effective IBP and planning processes.
  • Support various data-related projects, including system migrations, analytics initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
  • Contribute to digital transformation and automation initiatives that enhance data-driven decision-making

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in master data management, supply chain systems, or ERP (preferably D365 or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, auditing, and data quality best practices.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, commercialization processes, and supply chain data flows.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other data query tools; experience with reporting and visualization tools is an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with technical and business teams
  • Strong time management and priority setting skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.

What we offer you:

  • Competitive Total Rewards package – health benefits coverage on day 1, employer matched retirement savings plans, optional Health or Wellness Spending Accounts.
  • Employee discount program on our coffee and tea products.
  • Annual Safety Shoes Program – your safety is our #1 priority.
  • Tuition Assistance Program – we value continuous learning and self-development.
  • The hiring range for this role is $65,000 -70,000.
