Job Summary
We are looking for an automation-first Software QA – Intermediate to ensure the reliability and quality of enteliWEB, Delta IBT’s facility and energy management software for centralized building operations. This is not a manual QA role - the focus is on building and maintaining automated test systems using programming, test architecture, and CI/CD integration to validate UI workflows, APIs, services, data workflows, integrations, alarms, dashboards, reporting, and building-management features.
Duties And Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, APIs, services, data workflows, integrations, and end-to-end building-management scenarios. Embed automated validation into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable quality signals for development, deployment, and release decisions. Develop automation-first test strategies that reduce repetitive manual validation and improve confidence in frequent product releases. Validate enteliWEB workflows such as dashboards, alarms, audit logs, energy data, reporting, user roles, configuration, and multi-site facility operations through reliable, maintainable automation. Collaborate with developers, product managers, architects, and QA team members to define testable requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality gates. Build and improve test utilities, test data, mocks, fixtures, environments, simulators, and diagnostics to make automated testing scalable and debuggable. Investigate test failures, identify product defects versus test instability, and continuously improve automation reliability and coverage. Promote engineering practices that make enteliWEB more testable, observable, resilient, and continuously verified.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in QA or Software Development Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, Go, or similar languages. Experience building and maintaining automated tests for web, SaaS, enterprise, cloud-connected, or distributed applications. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, API and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test data management. Ability to design reliable, maintainable, and debuggable automation solutions with an automation-first mindset. Working knowledge of web application testing, deployment environments, feature flags, observability tools, release pipelines, and troubleshooting practices. Experience validating data-intensive workflows, including dashboards, reports, alarms, logs, analytics, events, and time-series data. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across applications, test automation, data, infrastructure, integrations, and environments. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and testability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with building automation systems, BACnet, IoT, smart buildings, energy management, facility operations, industrial automation, or operational technology (OT).
Work Location: Hybrid (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change)

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
