Brief Description On Duties

We are seeking a Project Manager and Principal Agile Delivery Specialist with an unparalleled 30 years of IT experience, including a remarkable 17-year journey within the Telecommunications sector. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who blends technical prowess with an in-depth understanding of telecom infrastructure, architectural frameworks, and systems structure. The successful candidate will lead technical deliveries for large-scale Telecom projects, utilizing both traditional Waterfall and modern Agile methodologies to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Project Leadership: Utilize your extensive IT and Telecom experience to lead technical deliveries from inception to completion, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and are delivered on time and within budget. Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the executive leadership to align project initiatives with corporate objectives, demonstrating your strong technical and program management skills. Agile Methodology Advocacy: Champion Agile best practices, providing hands-on support to both technical and business teams, and guiding the technical delivery team towards success. Policy and Control Implementation: Implement policies, system monitoring, and controls, leveraging your experience for effective management and reporting of corporate initiatives. Communication and Autonomy: Utilize exceptional communication skills to facilitate strategic decision-making, ensuring clear and effective communication at all levels. Agile Leadership: Serve as a mentor to Release Train Engineers (RTEs), enhancing the team’s Agile practices and understanding through your extensive experience.

Comprehensive IT and Telecom Experience: 30 years of IT expertise, with a focus on 17 years within the Telecom industry, showcasing a deep understanding of software development and technical intricacies. Technical and Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to integrate technical skills with project management methodologies, managing large-scale projects and fostering strong vendor relationships. Agile and Waterfall Methodologies: Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, able to adapt and guide teams through Agile practices effectively. Exceptional Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide project resources and communicate effectively at the executive level. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PeopleCode, Java, XML, Cobol. Program Management Skills: Expertise in PMO program governance, PMP and PMI-ACP Agile methodologies, project recovery, strategic alignment, change management, risk evaluation, and stakeholder management.
