Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building resilient platforms, improving deployment automation, ensuring security and compliance, and driving operational excellence across multi-cloud environments. This role requires strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, CI/CD, cloud networking, monitoring, and incident management while collaborating with development, security, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage highly available, secure, and scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep/ARM templates. Automate provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments. Manage cloud services including: AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM Azure: Virtual Machines, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, Azure Networking GCP: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, VPC Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD. Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite, ELK, or Splunk. Ensure platform reliability, performance, availability, and disaster recovery readiness. Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive preventive actions. Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, encryption, and compliance controls. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Architecture teams to improve release processes and system reliability. Drive adoption of DevOps, GitOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely, and the salary range will be $130,000/yr to $145,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
