Job Description As a Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics, you will partner closely with Marketing, Loyalty, and Personalization leaders to understand business challenges and deliver analytics-driven insights and recommendations. You will be responsible for customer segmentation, campaign measurement, customer insights, and reporting that help improve targeting, personalization, customer engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain reporting for customer-focused promotions, campaigns, and marketing initiatives. • Develop customer segments and audiences to support targeted marketing, personalization, and retention efforts. • Support marketing initiatives through opportunity identification, campaign design, and data extraction from internal data sources. • Conduct customer analytics, including segmentation, customer value analysis, and basket analysis, to generate actionable business insights. • Enhance and maintain predictive models used to identify growth and customer engagement opportunities. • Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations that drive measurable results. • Perform pre- and post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities. • Respond to ad hoc requests for analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights. • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer insights that support acquisition, retention, loyalty, and revenue growth initiatives. • Source, cleanse, summarize, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decision-making. • Build dashboards and recurring reports that communicate campaign performance and customer trends to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience • 4+ years of experience in database marketing and/or business intelligence role (preferably in a retail environment). • 3+ years of experience using SQL and Tableau. • University degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Marketing, Business Intelligence, or related field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Experience with Python is an asset. • Familiarity with any cloud platform, especially GCP. • Familiarity with Big Data Architectures (tools and applications) • Experience with data pipelining is an asset.
