THE OPPORTUNITY IGM Financial is seeking a Vice President, Sales Effectiveness and Productivity with end-to-end accountability for technology strategy, product delivery, and modernization agenda supporting IG Wealth Management’s core advisory and productivity capabilities. Reporting to the SVP, Head of IG Portfolios, this executive will shape and execute a portfolio strategy that directly enables business growth, advisor productivity leveraging AI, and digital transformation. The role carries end-to-end accountability for Advisor Applications, Productivity Applications, Data, and Integration within a portfolio-based delivery model, with responsibility for investment priorities, execution outcomes, and value realization. This leader will oversee a high-performing technology and delivery organization operating through cross-functional, persistent delivery pods and modern engineering practices, including AI-enabled delivery. Working closely with business, product, and enterprise technology leaders, the Vice President will translate strategic priorities into execution, manage performance across the portfolio, and ensure measurable outcomes are delivered at scale. This is an opportunity to lead a critical portfolio at the intersection of growth, advisor enablement, and enterprise transformation. The successful candidate will play a defining role in shaping how technology accelerates business performance through AI-enabled innovation, strong governance, and cross-enterprise collaboration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AI Strategy, Automation & Value Realization Lead the deployment of AI solutions and AI agents across digital platforms to improve advisor effectiveness and scale productivity, partnering closely with the AI Accelerator teams to align use cases, enable adoption, and realize measurable business value Define and track measurable value realization (e.g., productivity gains, advisor adoption, revenue enablement) from AI-enabled capabilities Drive AI enablement and upskilling across delivery teams to embed AI-assisted ways of working End-to-End Delivery & Portfolio Execution Own the full Software Delivery Lifecycle, integrating AI into engineering and deployment practices to optimize speed and quality Own portfolio-level backlog prioritization and sequencing, balancing value, risk, and dependencies Proactively identify and manage delivery risks and interdependencies, escalating enterprise-level issues as required Business Partnership & Enterprise Alignment Serve as a strategic technology partner to the IG Wealth Management executive team, aligning portfolio priorities to business growth, advisor effectiveness, and client outcomes Influence and align leaders across Business, Data, and Technology platforms to deliver integrated, scalable, and reusable solutions Lead cross-portfolio coordination across IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments, where applicable, resolving competing priorities and ensuring enterprise alignment on delivery commitments and outcomes Strategy Execution, OKRs & Performance Management Oversee delivery of complex business, digital, and technology programs aligned to enterprise Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) Translate enterprise strategy into portfolio OKRs and cascade into pod-level priorities with clear accountability Monitor and report on performance against OKRs and value realization metrics Portfolio Governance, Funding & Capacity Management Own portfolio prioritization, governance decisions, and strategic trade-offs to maximize business value, manage risk, and align investments to enterprise priorities Provide executive stewardship over portfolio capacity, funding allocation, and budget performance across a complex technology portfolio Align resourcing with delivery commitments in partnership with chapter and platform leadership Lead inputs into quarterly and annual governance forums (e.g., QBR/ABR), including risks, trade-offs, and performance insights Technology Leadership & Capability Build Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing technology organization within a pod-based delivery model Partner with chapter leaders to define technical standards, build critical capabilities, and sustain a strong talent pipeline Drive adoption of Agile and AI-enabled ways of working to enhance delivery performance Vendor & Ecosystem Strategy Manage strategic relationships across a diverse vendor ecosystem, including global technology partners, SaaS platforms, and fintechs Balance build vs. buy decisions to support scalable, reusable solutions Ensure vendor contributions align with enterprise architecture, standards, and value outcomes REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Leadership & Delivery Experience Proven success leading large-scale technology and digital portfolios in the financial services industry, with deep wealth management experience and strong understanding of advisor, client, dealer, and platform ecosystems Demonstrated experience supporting wealth management business priorities, including advisor productivity, sales effectiveness, practice management, client experience, and regulatory or operational considerations within a wealth environment Demonstrated ability to operate credibly at the executive level while driving disciplined execution, translating strategy into measurable business and technology outcomes Experience managing portfolio prioritization, trade-offs, funding, and cross-functional dependencies in a scaled delivery model AI, Digital & Technology Expertise Demonstrated experience delivering AI-enabled solutions (e.g., AI agents, intelligent workflows) that drive measurable business value Strong end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle experience, including use of modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools Deep experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, workflow automation, and wealth/dealer platforms (e.g., Broadridge) Strategy, Governance & Value Management Proven ability to translate enterprise strategy into prioritized roadmaps and measurable outcomes using OKRs Experience defining and tracking value realization frameworks tied to business performance Strong understanding of governance, performance management, and data-driven decision making Agile & Operating Model Leadership Strong understanding of Agile ways of working, with experience leading cross-functional, persistent delivery pods Experience operating within a portfolio-based or product-based delivery model, including coordination across multiple teams and platforms Stakeholder & Partner Management Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and build alignment across complex stakeholder groups Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and external
