About the Team & Impact You will support enterprise cloud operations for a major public sector organization, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient Azure environments. This role directly contributes to modernizing infrastructure, improving service delivery, and maintaining compliance with governance and security standards.
Responsibilities Administer Azure resources (VMs, networking, storage, identity) to ensure uptime and performance Monitor cloud environments and resolve incidents through root cause analysis Implement and maintain security controls (RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access) Manage Entra ID users, roles, and privileged access governance Support Azure VMware Solution and hybrid cloud connectivity Develop automation using PowerShell, CLI, or infrastructure-as-code tools Enforce governance (policies, tagging, naming standards, landing zones) Optimize performance, availability, and cost of cloud resources Support migrations from on-prem to Azure environments Maintain documentation, runbooks, and audit readiness artifacts
