About the role
Reporting to the Vice-President of Finance & Administration, you will be responsible for the performance, stability, and evolution of Garaga's technology environments, as well as the effectiveness of the IT support provided to internal users. You will lead two key teams – infrastructure and end-user support – and act as a central player in IT operational execution. You will also contribute to aligning technology initiatives with business needs.

Role and responsabilities of the IT Director - Infrastructure and End-User Support :
Technology Infrastructure Ensure the stability, performance, and availability of IT systems (networks, servers, storage, multi-site connectivity). Oversee technology evolution projects (modernization, migrations, platform upgrades). Deploy robust, scalable solutions that comply with best practices.
End-user IT Support Lead the IT support team in managing requests (tickets), system access, hardware deployment, and incident resolution. Optimize IT service processes, including response times, documentation, and user experience. Foster a customer-oriented service culture within the IT teams.
Team managemennt Engage, develop, and supervise the infrastructure and support teams. Define roles, responsibilities, training plans, and performance measures. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Business continuity and operational compliance Ensure the implementation and maintenance of business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR) plans for critical systems. Manage IT operational compliance, including access, backups, and technical documentation. Coordinate the execution of internal and external IT audits within your scope.
IT governance and strategic alignment Participate in the IT steering committee and contribute to aligning infrastructure and support with organizational objectives. Collaborate with the other IT directors to ensure the consistency of Garaga's digital ecosystem.
Required qualifications for the IT Director - Infrastructure and End-User Support position: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in team management. Proven experience managing complex technology infrastructures (networks, servers, multi-site). Experience managing end-user IT support services and improving the internal customer experience. Knowledge of Microsoft environments (AD, Windows Server, O365, Azure) and of best practices in networking, storage, and virtualization. Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or equivalents. Engaging leadership and a strong sense of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Excellent skills in communication, explaining technical concepts, and documentation. Strong command of English (written and technical) required; French considered an asset Regular presence at the office preferred (hybrid or on-site model).
