SAP Technical Lead
Role summary:
Lead the daily coordination with various internal teams for end-to-end technical onboarding and foundation setup for SAP RISE Private Cloud Edition (PCE) on cloud, including network connectivity, DNS, IAM/SSO, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, and operational readiness. Acts as the single technical coordination point across SAP (RISE), internal cloud/network/IAM/security teams, SI, and ServiceNow/ITIL processes.
Primary outcomes / responsibilities (high-level):
Own the internal tickets and updates for RISE PCE technical onboarding and workstream plan (connectivity, identity, operations).
Coordinate private connectivity: ExpressRoute changes), routing, allowlists, DNS forwarding, name resolution, firewall/inspection requirements.
Drive SSO + provisioning patterns: Microsoft Entra ID SAP IAS/IPS (SAML/OIDC + SCIM), access governance alignment (incl. SailPoint/CyberArk touchpoints if in scope).
Stand up SAP Cloud ALM integration end-to-end (monitoring hooks, alerting, operational processes).
Stand up SAP BTP foundation: subaccount/global account setup, entitlements, destinations/connectivity patterns, security baseline.
Lead ServiceNow ticketing + cross-team coordination (cloud, network, IAM, security, SOC).
Define operational handover: runbooks, support model, monitoring/log forwarding approach, DR connectivity readiness (as applicable).
Must-have skills (short list):
SAP Basis + SAP workloads on Azure (hands-on or strong delivery leadership)
SAP RISE PCE connectivity patterns and constraints (private access, controlled ingress/egress)
Cloud networking: ExpressRoute, VPN, routing, Private DNS, firewall/NVA, IP planning
IAM: Entra ID, Conditional Access/MFA concepts, SAML/OIDC federation, SCIM provisioning
SAP Cloud ALM + SAP BTP setup exp erience
Strong delivery leadership: stakeholder mgmt., ITIL/ServiceNow, documentation/runbooks
Nice-to-have:
SAP Web Dispatcher / Fiori access patterns, reverse proxy concepts
CyberArk PAM integration patterns for privileged access
Security controls alignment (TLS, encryption, logging, evidence retention)
Salary Range: CAD$100,000 - CAD$120,000
