Role : Cloud Security Test Engineer Duration: Contract – 3+ months Possibility of Extension & Conversion Location: Toronto – 2 Days(Hybrid)
Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security & AI Test Engineer to design, automate, and validate cloud security compliance policies across multi-cloud environments. The successful candidate will develop AI-driven test frameworks, automate compliance validation, integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with security, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering teams to ensure cloud environments meet regulatory and security standards.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for cloud security and compliance policies. Build AI-assisted testing solutions for validating cloud security controls. Develop positive, negative, and edge-case test scenarios. Automate security testing for Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Integrate security validation into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, and Compliance teams. Validate cloud environments against security and regulatory standards. Create automated compliance reports, dashboards, and audit evidence. Support continuous improvement of cloud security testing processes.
Required Skills 8+ years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or AI Engineering. 3+ years of Technical Lead experience. Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Strong proficiency in Python. Experience with Terraform. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Jira and Confluence. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance.
Nice-to-Have Skills Cloud or DevSecOps certifications. Experience with Kubernetes and container security. Hands-on experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA), HashiCorp Sentinel, Azure Policy, GCP Organization Policy, or Wiz Policy. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Helm, ARM, YAML, JSON, or REGO. Experience in banking or financial services.
