We are seeking a highly motivated Bioinformatics Scientist to join a cutting-edge computational biology team focused on advancing next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and AI-driven healthcare solutions. In this role, you will develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines, analyze large-scale genomic datasets, and apply machine learning techniques to identify novel biomarkers and support the development of next-generation diagnostic assays. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis. Analyze genomic datasets, including mutation detection and biomarker discovery. Build reproducible machine learning models to evaluate and validate genomic biomarkers. Create data visualizations and reports to communicate scientific findings. Collaborate with bioinformaticians, computational scientists, and cross-functional R&D teams. Improve pipeline performance across HPC environments. Contribute to workflow automation, documentation, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biostatistics, or a related field. Strong Python programming skills. Experience with Bash scripting and Linux/Unix environments. Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis. Knowledge of sequence alignment, variant analysis, and genomic workflows. Experience working on High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and data analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Nextflow or Snakemake. Docker or containerized workflow experience. Knowledge of liquid biopsy, cfDNA, ctDNA, or cancer genomics. Experience developing scalable bioinformatics pipelines. Publications or research experience in computational biology, genomics, or machine learning.
