Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Analyst role based in Moncton, NB. The Quality Assurance Analyst will design, execute, and maintain test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of Lavvi’s digital insurance platforms. In this role, the analyst will perform manual testing across web and application environments, document defects, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. Daily responsibilities include reviewing requirements and user stories, identifying test scenarios, tracking issues through to resolution, and contributing to continuous improvements in QA processes and standards. The analyst will also help refine acceptance criteria, participate in regression testing, and provide clear feedback to support timely and reliable software deployments. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and assess product risk and impact. Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to establish standards, validate functionality, and ensure consistent product quality. Hands-on proficiency in Manual Testing and executing structured Test Cases across multiple environments and devices. Attention to detail with the ability to document clear, reproducible defects and test results in issue-tracking tools. Familiarity with software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder discussions. Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with life insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is an asset. Knowledge of test management tools, basic SQL, and exposure to automation frameworks is considered beneficial.
