More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Product Development Engineer in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, with Signify. Develop innovative and creative LED luminaires with the focus on customer needs and technological competitiveness. Work with an integrated project team using a stage gate development process to bring products to market from start to finish. Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and on budget. Build and test prototype designs and implement improvements. Apply engineering practices such as DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), tolerance stack-up, material selection, DoE (Design of Experiments), and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principals. Participate in design reviews and supply frequent updates to a project manager.
