Flexible Work Agreement Type Hybrid / Hybride Posting End Date 2026-07-26 Job Grade L3 Pay Range Commensurate with Experience / Selon l’expérience Job Summary Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Strategy Realization, the Director ATM and Safety Performance is responsible for the development and delivery of the corporate performance management framework. The Director is responsible for deploying best practice project valuation, solution design, implementation, planning, monitoring, tracking, and reporting, to support NAV Canada’s corporate performance initiatives for continuous improvement of productivity and safety. The position promotes corporate and operational performance improvement through strategic priorities, initiatives, plans, analyses and recommendations related to trends, underlying themes and concepts. Job Description What NAV CANADA offers you: Challenging, team-oriented work environment Competitive compensation and benefits Defined benefit pension plan Opportunities for growth and development Flexible work arrangements Diverse and inclusive workforce In this role you will: Strategic alignment and implementation: Defines objectives, KPIs and measures at corporate and departmental levels, gains approval from business leaders and effectively cascades them to business and support units for continuous improvement; Ensures that Department/ Business Units strategies are linked to each other and to the Corporate Plan in a structured manner; Defines the synergies and interrelationships to be created through cross-business / cross-functional performance and recommends roles for effective implementation; Designs and reports on key performance measures related to business costs, corporate efficiency, safety and effectiveness; Designs, develops and delivers methodologies, tools, processes and systems aligned with corporate objectives and researched best practices to analyze and bridge operational gaps for organizational effectiveness; Resource Utilization: Collaborates with the Finance Department to align the planning and budgeting processes; Prepares and analyzes air traffic forecasts through econometric and business operations modeling with sensitivity analysis to support Finance with budgeting and rate setting; Participates in the establishment of costs/budgets for strategic priorities and initiatives; Supports business case analysis for change initiatives, defines value measurement for corporate projects and analyzes labour cost impacts associated with collective bargaining and closed period negotiations; Identifies key business processes and leads continuous business process improvement projects for cost effectiveness and outstanding corporate performance; Communication Collaborates with the Communications group to deliver the corporate performance communications plan and regular updates; Prepares documentation, materials, and presentations reporting to the executive team and to all staff on progress of strategy execution; Ensures appropriate and timely reporting of corporate performance, analyzes data and trends, and communicates results with recommendations for improvement while maintaining or improving data streams and analytics; Leads the collection of quantitative and qualitative analysis and dissemination of a variety of monthly, quarterly and yearly statistics and reports to executive and leadership committees and business units across the organization. Leadership Leads a team of professional contributors towards the achievement of functional objectives; creates a positive environment that enables staff motivation and commitment to the function’s mandate and objectives. Leads and facilitates an inclusive, respectful and service excellence oriented culture within the team and across the organization to leverage broader partnerships and knowledge. What you bring: Degree in an area related to business performance (Business Administration, Public Administration, Statistics, etc.) or equivalent experience and skills. 10 years of experience in organizational development, business case analysis and project management, preferably in the Air Navigation service industry; Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a corporate performance framework, utilizing a balanced approach to develop performance objectives, measures and KPIs; Demonstrated experience in designing complex quantitative and qualitative analyses that identify trends and gaps, recommending innovative solutions for improvement and performing predictive modeling; Proven experience leading and managing a team. Experience working in analytics, business intelligence, data mining or decision support function within a large corporation Knowledge of NAV Canada policies, processes, regulations and systems. Certified Project Manager or equivalent skills and experience. Working Conditions: This position is a hybrid position with a minimum 3 days per week on site.
