About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our IT team at Blitz TI. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model based in Montreal, combining the flexibility of remote work with onsite collaboration. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web development, eager to work within a modern, highly integrated environment that includes AWS, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and headless CMS architectures. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a proactive and versatile developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of complex digital platforms, participate in innovative integrations, and help shape the future of our decoupled architecture. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and infrastructure specialists, to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in full stack web development, with a strong foundation in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL. Fluency in French, both oral and written, is essential to effectively communicate within the team and with stakeholders. Practical experience working within AWS environments, especially with managed services, is highly desirable. A solid understanding of REST API integrations and modern architectures is required, along with a curiosity for interconnected systems and emerging technologies. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, autonomy, and a solution-oriented mindset. Strong communication skills in French are necessary to collaborate effectively in our bilingual environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full stack web applications, ensuring optimal performance and security. Participate in the integration of multiple platforms using REST APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability. Design, develop, and maintain features within WordPress, PHP, and MySQL environments, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Work within an AWS environment utilizing managed services to deploy, monitor, and optimize applications. Contribute to the evolution of a modern, decoupled architecture, exploring new technologies and methodologies. Collaborate closely with product teams, UX/UI designers, and infrastructure specialists to deliver cohesive digital solutions. Engage in technical discussions, propose innovative solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Maintain and improve existing digital platforms, ensuring they remain current, secure, and scalable.
