Course type: C Posting type: Régulier / Regular Language of instruction: Anglais | English Competence in second language: Passive Course Schedule: Jeudi | Thursday 17:30-20:30 - - Requirements: Applicants must possess or be in the process of completing a PhD in Digital Transformation and Innovation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and applied generative AI systems, with experience designing, evaluating, and optimizing prompts for real-world applications. Required areas of expertise include advanced prompting techniques (e.g., few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, ReAct), structured outputs, function and tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI workflows, and LLM evaluation methodologies. Candidates should have experience with prompt versioning, regression testing, LLM-as-judge frameworks, AI safety and reliability, and performance evaluation using human-labeled and/or benchmark datasets. Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks is required, along with familiarity with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI, LangSmith, or similar technologies. Evidence of teaching, teaching assistantship, curriculum development, or professional training related to AI, machine learning, or prompt engineering is considered an asset.
