Your Role And Responsibilities
As an Associate Cloud Engineer, you will support the development, deployment, and operation of applications and services across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will help build cloud-native solutions, automate infrastructure, support CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to secure and reliable cloud operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for recent graduates who bring strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to learn cloud and platform engineering in a collaborative environment.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Support Multi-Cloud Solution Delivery: Assist in the development and deployment of applications and services across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments. Build Cloud-Native Solutions: Help design and implement cloud-native solutions using platform services such as compute, storage, networking, and managed databases. Contribute to Infrastructure Automation: Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools and repeatable deployment practices. Work with Containers and Orchestration: Assist with containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. Support CI/CD Implementation: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery of cloud applications. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with platform, security, and application teams to help ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and Optimize Cloud Environments: Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution across cloud platforms and services. Support Cloud Security Practices: Assist in implementing cloud security controls and best practices, including identity and access management, secrets management, and compliance-aligned configurations. Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud configurations, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks. Continue Learning Emerging Technologies: Stay current with evolving cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and multi-cloud engineering practices.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Graduated in last 24 months (MBA not accepted) Agentic and Generative AI: Experience using Generative AI and agentic AI tools to support software development, documentation, workflow automation, cloud operations, and knowledge retrieval. Ability to apply these tools responsibly with appropriate attention to accuracy, validation of outputs, data privacy, security, and human oversight. Programming and Scripting Skills: Programming and scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Familiarity with Bash or PowerShell scripting for automation tasks is preferred. Cloud Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with two or more cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, and familiarity with core services such as compute, storage, networking, and IAM. Cloud-Native Development Fundamentals: Understanding of cloud-native development concepts including microservices, REST-based integrations, and scalable application design. DevOps and CI/CD Fundamentals: Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Version Control and Collaboration: Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows including branching, pull requests, and code review practices. Containers and Orchestration: Strong knowledge of Docker and experience with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform (preferred), Ansible, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Monitoring and Reliability Fundamentals: Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or Dynatrace, along with basic reliability and operational support practices. Cloud Security Fundamentals: Understanding of cloud security concepts including RBAC/IAM, least-privilege access, secrets management, and secure deployment practices. Exposure to multi-cloud architecture patterns and strategies for deploying applications across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience supporting or building cloud security and compliance controls in enterprise environments. Exposure to serverless services, managed Kubernetes offerings, or platform engineering concepts. Familiarity with incident management, operational runbooks, and support processes in cloud-based environments.
