Job Title: -Python Automation Developer

Location: -Ottawa, ON (Onsite)

Duration :12+Months Contract (With Possibility of extension)

Pay Rate Range: $40-60 /hr on T4 Only

POSITION: Software Automation Test Developer POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, involved in delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies.

You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.

Responsibilities

Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test ¿ Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system Contribute to team deliverable through involvement in agile scrum development sprints

Skills Required:

Python, .Net Framework, Test Automation

Skills Preferred:

REST APIs, Jira, SQL, Test Cases

Experience Required:

3+ years of experience in Python development Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie, Slash) Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins) Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving

Experience Preferred:

Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA) - Experience with database (SQL) Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated
