Cognos Developer
Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days at client office Duration: 6-month contract (extension if required) Experience Required: 6–8 years Skills Cognos Data Integration Role Description Design, develop, and support enterprise reporting solutions using IBM Cognos to enable data-driven decision-making across insurance and financial services. Develop and maintain Cognos reports, dashboards, and frameworks using Report Studio and Cognos Analytics. Design data models, packages, and metadata layers for business reporting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance. Support production issues, enhancements, and release deployments. Integrate Cognos with enterprise data platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure data services. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and documentation.
