About the Rol eCharter is seeking an experienced Expert / Senior Network Specialist for a 9 month contract. The successful candidate will bring CCNP-level knowledge and advanced hands-on networking experience to support complex enterprise network environments. This role provides senior technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting, implementation support, and deployment expertise. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the delivery lifecycle, from planning and configuration review through installation, turn-up, validation, and operational handoff

Responsibilitie s:Lead and execute complex network deployment and modernization activiti esReview network designs, implementation plans, configurations, methods of procedure, and rollback plans prior to deployme ntInstall, rack, power, configure, and onboard Cisco core, distribution, and access switching infrastructu rePerform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical escalation support across routing, switching, wireless, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing servic esDeploy and bring enterprise wireless access points online, validate connectivity and RF performance, and resolve implementation issu esCoordinate network changes, service transitions, and deployment activities with project teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholde rsDevelop and maintain network diagrams, configuration records, implementation documentation, and operational procedur esPerform cabling validation, network turn-ups, post-implementation checks, and service verificati onIdentify technical risks, dependencies, and potential service impacts, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategi esEnsure all activities meet established safety, architecture, configuration, documentation, and quality standar
ds Qualificatio ns:7+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, network operations, infrastructure support, or enterprise network supp ortCCNP certification or demonstrated CCNP-level capability, with strong hands-on experience configuring, deploying and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise networking equipm entProven experience working in active construction environments with zero tolerance for safety non-complia nceHands-on experience installing, racking, powering, configuring and onboarding Cisco core, distribution, and access switc hesExperience deploying enterprise wireless access points online, validating RF performance and resolving implementation iss uesFamiliarity with Cisco ecosystem tools such as BlueCat IPAM and Cisco Spa cesProficiency using network diagnostic tools including NetAlly or equivalent test ersAbility to create, review and interpret network diagrams, configuration documentation, implementation plans and operational procedu resMust supply personal field tools, appropriate testing equipment, and a suitable laptop for on-site w orkStrong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, wireless, VLANs, spanning tree, high availability, and IP address ingAbility to independently troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical guidance during implementations and service transiti
