About the Rol eWe are seeking a Test Analyst to support a Procurement System Modernization initiative. The successful candidate will help establish testing approaches, develop and execute test plans, validate test results, manage test data, and confirm that test cases reflect the business requirements and development scope being delivered .This role is well suited for a detail-oriented QA/Test Analyst with experience working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, development teams, and project teams in a structured delivery environment
. Key Responsibiliti esThe Test Analyst will support the following activitie s:Review, evaluate, and provide testing input during business requirements and design specification session s.Identify target test items to be evaluated through the testing effor t.Support the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test script s.Work with subject matter experts to define required tests and associated test dat a.Gather, prepare, and manage test dat a.Facilitate, manage, set up, and execute testing activitie s.Evaluate outcomes from each test cycle and advise on appropriate implementation approache s.Log test outcomes, verify test execution, and define exit criteria for testin g.Identify, communicate, and support resolution of testing issue s.Collaborate with project team members to analyze and recover from execution error s.Track test results, statistics, metrics, defects, status, and completion progres s.Attend project meetings to review testing inputs, outputs, risks, issues, and status update s.Support project team members in the analysis of testing issue s.Support project teams using AI tools and/or automated testing tools where applicabl e.Contribute to process improvement and issue resolution across the testing lifecycl

Required Qualificati onsCandidates should demonstrate experience wi th:Test planning, test case development, test execution, and test reporti ng.Reviewing business requirements and design specifications from a testing perspecti ve.Working with SMEs, business users, developers, and project tea ms.Defect identification, tracking, triage, and resolution suppo rt.Test data preparation and manageme nt.Test metrics, status reporting, and exit criter ia.Supporting system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testi ng.Working in structured project delivery environmen ts.Performing work onsite 5 days per week in Alber ta.Performing all work from within Cana
