Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Create and maintain logical and physical design artifacts, ensuring alignment with business needs and project constraints. Assist in defining high-level and low-level tasks for the technical team, ensuring clarity and feasibility. Work closely with individual team members to estimate and refine task durations, providing guidance when needed to keep the project on schedule. Provide technical design guidance to ensure scalability and extensibility of solutions. Ensure adherence to maintenance and enhancement practices to meet service level agreements for system availability and security. Collaborate with other technology teams as needed to support interdependent projects. Contribute to the definition and governance of architectural standards within the department. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned Education and/or Training: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.) Relevant Work Experience: 7 years’ experience in software development, with proficiency in: Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability Implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to enable seamless integration between different systems and services Utilizing Azure services and platforms to build cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, availability, and security Designing and optimizing database schemas, writing efficient SQL queries, and implementing database-related functionalities Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives Experience in mentoring junior team members is a plus Experience in leading technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality #LI-BS1 #LI-REMOTE Pay: We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $119,380.00 - $170,115.00 CAD annually for full time employees.
