Hiring: SAP Basis Administrator 🚨 📍 Location: Montreal, QC, Canada 🗓️ Duration: Contract Opportunity 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid (Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Montreal preferred) We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support and maintain critical SAP environments for a leading enterprise client in Montreal. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems and landscapes • Perform SAP Basis administration activities across Development, QA, and Production environments • Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues • Execute SAP kernel upgrades, support packages, and system refresh activities • Manage transports and coordinate release deployments • Perform system copies, client administration, and patch management • Ensure high availability, system security, backup, and disaster recovery readiness • Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to optimize SAP performance • Support incident resolution and participate in on-call activities when required 🔹 Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Administrator • Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration and troubleshooting • Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments • Knowledge of SAP system upgrades, migrations, and refresh activities • Experience working with SAP on HANA databases is highly preferred • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and database administration concepts • Strong understanding of transport management and system monitoring • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
