Responsabilities

The inventory and Data Specialist is responsible for the architecture, construction and maintenance of an electronic catalogue of over 50,000 coded. They are also responsible for the nomenclature as well as the precision of the parameters associated with each part.. In addition, their other main responsibilities include:

• Processing of new requests for stock items;
• Building and maintaining the part’s catalogue according to established standards;
• Making the catalogue more user friendly.
• Setting up, maintaining and frequently updating the product database, with the most up to date information. Providing real time information regarding the products to internal customers.
• Loading pricing and other contractual data to catalogue items
• Deleting information in case of discontinued or redundant products in the catalogue.
• Providing reports and business intelligence insights into inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain, finance or other related discipline;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data management and inventory;
• Experience in inventory management an important asset;
• Must be very analytical and have excellent attention to detail;
• Must be very experienced in the manipulation and analysis of large data sets

Atouts

• Advanced database management and design skills;
• Advanced or expert level knowledge of Excel, especially for manipulation and analysis of large files (PivotTable, VLOOKUP, etc.);
• Proficiency in computer software and databases such as Guide TI an asset;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Bilingualism (English/French);
