We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst who is passionate about security, governance, and risk management. This individual will play an important role in supporting our compliance initiatives while working closely with leadership, technical teams, and customers. Position Summary The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining S2's cybersecurity compliance and governance programs. This role ensures internal processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements while assisting with audits, customer compliance requests, policy management, and risk assessments. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain cybersecurity compliance programs and initiatives. Assist with regulatory and industry framework compliance, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and other applicable standards. Coordinate internal and external compliance audits. Collect, organize, and maintain compliance documentation and audit evidence. Develop, review, and update company policies, procedures, and security documentation. Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to internal controls. Conduct internal compliance reviews and risk assessments. Assist with vendor risk management and third-party assessments. Complete customer security questionnaires and due diligence requests. Track remediation activities and ensure timely resolution of compliance findings. Work closely with leadership and technical teams to improve governance and security processes. Support privacy compliance initiatives where applicable. Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting metrics. Conducting cyber risk assessments Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in compliance, governance, cybersecurity, risk management, or audit. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail. Preferred Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as: ISO 27001 SOC 2 PCI NIST Cybersecurity Framework CIS Controls Familiarity with privacy regulations such as PIPEDA, GDPR, or CCPA. Experience supporting internal or external audits. Professional certifications such as: CISA CRISC Security+ ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor CISSP (an asset) Skills Compliance management Risk assessment Policy development Audit coordination Documentation management Vendor risk management Project coordination Communication and stakeholder management Problem solving Time management What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and enjoys bringing structure to complex processes.
