About the role

Purpose Global Finance Reporting provides financial analysis and decision support to Executive Management across multiple business lines, including Canadian Banking and Global Wealth Management. The Manager is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for monthly and quarterly results. This role also supports executive reporting by identifying key trends, risks, and business drivers impacting performance. Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results (P&L and Balance Sheet), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Review and validate financial results for reasonableness; identify, investigate, and resolve material issues. Oversee processing of EGL entries, ensuring compliance with deadlines and accuracy standards. Collaborate with business units and finance partners to resolve accounting and reporting issues. Manage updates to business line reporting rules to ensure accurate financial outputs. Monitor emerging business issues and assess their financial impact. Contribute to executive reporting by analyzing trends, market developments, and key performance drivers. Strengthen and maintain internal controls; identify and implement process improvements. Support initiatives that enhance team effectiveness, efficiency, and operational performance. Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements (including operational, AML/ATF, and conduct risk frameworks). Foster a high-performance, inclusive team environment focused on development, engagement, and succession planning.

Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent designation preferred Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., PeopleSoft EGL, OBI, Excel, PowerPoint)
