This role is focused on building and scaling high-quality, user-centric frontend experiences within a modern SaaS platform. You will contribute directly to the evolution of a complex product used by organizations to optimize and manage critical business processes. Accountabilities: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling frontend solutions while ensuring high standards of performance, usability, and maintainability across the product ecosystem. Build, maintain, and ship responsive frontend features using React and TypeScript, ensuring scalability and usability Design and implement reusable, accessible, and high-performance UI components aligned with product and design requirements Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into intuitive and effective user experiences Champion code quality through clean, testable, and maintainable frontend architecture and development practices Contribute to frontend system design and ensure alignment with architectural standards, security practices, and scalability goals Participate in improving engineering processes, CI/CD workflows, and overall development efficiency Requirements: The ideal candidate is a senior-level frontend engineer with strong expertise in modern web technologies, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building high-quality user experiences. 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, preferably within SaaS or product-driven environments Strong experience with React and TypeScript, including component-based architecture and state management Solid understanding of frontend engineering principles, UI/UX best practices, and performance optimization Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and exposure to CI/CD workflows Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers Strong ownership mindset with accountability for technical quality and delivery outcomes Experience with AI-assisted development tools or interest in evaluating new engineering technologies is a plus Benefits: Annual salary range: CAD $137,000 – $152,000 Remote-first work environment within Canada with flexible working hours Equity/stock options enabling ownership in the company’s growth Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, plus wellness spending accounts Flexible time off and responsible vacation policy focused on rest and autonomy Strong learning culture with opportunities for experimentation and professional growth Supportive, people-first engineering culture with psychological safety and collaboration Additional perks including community initiatives, DEI programs, and learning events.
