Our Client which is a large Investment Bank is urgently looking to hire a Sr. Release Manager.

Sr. Release Manager. Location - Toronto, ON Long Term Contract

Need 4 days onsite every week. F2F Interview is required.

IT Build and Release Manager oversees the software delivery process. You will connect development and operations teams to make sure new programs and banking updates are released safely, quickly, and without causing errors in the bank's systems.

Experience: 5 to 10+ years of managing technology projects, often using both standard (Waterfall) and fast-paced (Agile) methods.

Key Responsibilities Release Planning, Release Governance, Risk Control, Automation and Testing. Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Enforce strict bank change management policies, vulnerability management, and audit trails to ensure releases are repeatable and compliant. Collaborate with product managers and Quality Engineering (QE) teams Coach, develop, and manage teams of DevOps and Release Engineers. Tech Skills: Good knowledge of software release tools (like Jira and ServiceNow), automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and banking system security.
