NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Python Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure. The resource should have hands-on experience in Python development, API development, data processing, cloud integrations, and working with Azure services in an enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications, services, and APIs. Build and deploy scalable solutions using Azure cloud services. Develop REST APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask. Knowledge of messaging queues such as KAFKA Work with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Data Factory. Integrate applications with external systems, databases, APIs, and cloud services. Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines using Python and Azure services. Experience with Docker and containerized deployments. Knowledge of Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service. Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error handling. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, data engineers, QA teams, and client stakeholders. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and support deployment activities. Follow coding standards, security best practices, and cloud governance guidelines. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Python programming. Experience with REST API development using FastAPI, Flask Working knowledge of Azure cloud services. Experience with App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Key Vault. Good understanding of cloud-native application design and microservices architecture. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Ability to write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code. Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Entra ID, OAuth, JWT, managed identities, and service principals. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-204
Experience Level: 7–8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years of Python development and 2+ years of hands-on Azure experience. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Good to Have: Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-900.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
