As a Materials ERP Administration Clerk, you will support critical ERP processes that drive production planning, forecasting, and material availability, helping ensure operations run efficiently and customer requirements are met. Working closely with the Materials ERP Analyst and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to maintaining accurate SAP data, supporting production planning, and identifying opportunities to improve system performance. Your Responsibilities • You'll support the maintenance and accuracy of ERP planning, forecasting, and demand data while resolving system discrepancies. • You'll assist with creating, updating, and maintaining material masters, bills of materials, routings, sales orders, and production orders within SAP. • You'll validate BOM structures and planning data to ensure accurate material demand from sales through production. • You'll monitor inventory levels, identify variances, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to support effective material planning. • You'll investigate and escalate suspicious material transactions, SAP IDOC errors, and ERP data inconsistencies. • You'll support engineering change implementation, theoretical demand maintenance, and alignment with the latest production schedules. • You'll contribute to additional materials planning and ERP administration activities as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. • 1 to 2 years of ERP experience within a manufacturing environment, including Material Masters, Bills of Materials, Routings, and demand scheduling is preferred but not required. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and advanced functions is an absolute must have. • Experience with programming languages or automation tools such as Visual Basic, Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar technologies. • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. • Ability to interpret complex data, provide recommendations, and work effectively within a collaborative team environment. • Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement principles, and production planning or scheduling is considered an asset.
