What we offer A highly technical, systems-driven role combining software development, systems integration, automation, and product configuration. As a Manufacturing Systems Developer, you will own the ongoing development, automation, and optimization of internal software systems that support product configuration, engineering, and manufacturing workflows. You will translate product, design, and engineering requirements into scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, and manufacturing execution. Your work will connect customer, engineering, and production processes through integrated systems and automation, helping scale our advanced manufacturing operations. What you’ll do Build, maintain, and enhance internal software systems that support product configuration, manufacturing, and operational workflows. Develop and improve intuitive, reliable applications and user interfaces for a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Connect software solutions to engineering, ERP, and manufacturing systems through validated data structures and system integrations. Partner with Design, Engineering, CAD/CAM, and Manufacturing teams to ensure systems accurately support product definitions, bills of materials, and production requirements. Translate business requirements, product logic, and operational constraints into scalable and maintainable system solutions. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved data integrity across manufacturing operations. Other duties as assigned. What you bring Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of software, web, or systems development experience; an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will be considered. Experience configuring, developing, or supporting business applications, manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, product configuration tools, or similar enterprise software solutions. Strong technical proficiency in XML, data structures, systems integration, and web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working understanding of, or interest in, automation, fabrication, and manufacturing workflows. Bonus Points Familiarity with JSON, Python, SQL, or comparable programming languages. Experience with ERP, MES, CAD/CAM, CPQ, or other manufacturing and business systems. Experience in cabinetry, millwork, architecture, construction, manufacturing, or woodworking. Knowledge of automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies. Familiarity with 3D rendering, CAD, or visual presentation tools. Compensation The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
