Monitor data pipelines and identify data quality issues early Analyze data using SQL to detect discrepancies and root causes Investigate issues end-to-end across upstream and downstream systems Define and implement data quality rules and thresholds Document defects, root causes, and remediation actions Partner with data engineering, analytics, QA, and upstream teams to resolve issues Support data quality monitoring, reporting, and dashboards Contribute to data governance, standards, and control frameworks Communicate status, risks, and impacts clearly to stakeholders Core Requirements 6+ years in data quality, data analysis, or similar role in a data warehouse environment Strong SQL skills, ability to write complex queries Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and data flows Ability to trace issues across multiple systems Preferred Experience Experience in banking, regulatory, or customer data environments Knowledge of data governance frameworks and controls Exposure to data quality tools or monitoring platforms Experience handling production incidents and DQ defects Understanding of root cause analysis and defect management processes Soft Skills Clear and concise communication Strong stakeholder management Ability to work under pressure and prioritize issues Proactive mindset, identifies issues before escalation
