About the role
Required Qualifications: 5-15 years of Workday integration experience (level adjusted for Engineer vs Lead).
Strong hands-on experience with: Workday Orchestration (including event-driven patterns) Workday APIs: SOAP and REST Workday integration tools such as EIB, RaaS, and/or Studio
Solid understanding of: Integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub concepts, event-driven architectures) Data transformation formats: JSON, XML, XSLT API testing and debugging tools (e.g., Postman or equivalent) Experience building reliable error-handling, monitoring, and reconciliation mechanisms. Strong documentation skills (interface specs, data mappings, runbooks, troubleshooting guides).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday Extend app development and deployment lifecycle. Experience integrating Workday with IAM/Provisioning solutions (e.g., Azure AD, SailPoint, Okta) using event triggers. Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) and hybrid patterns with Workday Orchestration. Knowledge of Workday security concepts: integration system users, domains, business process security policies. Exposure to audit/compliance-driven environments (SOX, GDPR, SOC reporting).
