ABOUT THE UPPER GRAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (UGDSB)

The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 6,500 dedicated staff who serve more than 35,000 students attending a variety of programs across 66 elementary and 11 secondary schools as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in the counties of Dufferin, Wellington, and the City of Guelph. International Baccalaureate (IB) Exam Proctor

Location:

University of Guelph

Salary Range:

Teachers shall be paid in accordance with their proper placement on the Secondary Teacher Salary Grid.

While performing this position, you are a member of the Ontario Secondary School teachers' Federation representing the District 18 Teachers' Bargaining Unit. Union dues will apply.

JOB SUMMARY:

As the International Baccalaureate (IB) Exam Proctor, you will be responsible for or assisting with:

  • Setup for the day's IB exams, and greet students at the University of Guelph
  • Ensuring all IB protocols are followed before, during and after the exams
  • Supervising the students writing the exams
  • Collecting and storing the completed IB exams, as per the IB protocols

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Secondary teaching qualifications
  • IB teaching qualifications
  • Experience as a proctor for IB examinations
