Role: Machine Vision Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $30 - $80/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Machine Vision Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing algorithms and systems to process and analyze visual data, enabling automated decision-making for industrial and commercial applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine vision solutions into existing workflows and products.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and optimize machine vision algorithms for object detection, classification, and segmentation tasks • Develop and maintain software pipelines for image processing, including preprocessing, feature extraction, and model inference • Integrate machine vision models with hardware systems, including cameras, sensors, and embedded platforms • Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to deploy scalable vision solutions in production environments • Evaluate and benchmark model performance, ensuring accuracy, latency, and reliability meet project requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch for computer vision tasks • Experience with deep learning models for image analysis, including CNNs, Transformers, or YOLO architectures • Familiarity with image preprocessing techniques, such as filtering, enhancement, and normalization • Knowledge of camera calibration, 3D vision, or multi-view geometry is a plus • Ability to optimize models for edge deployment, including model quantization and pruning
