You will contribute strong technical and business knowledge to complex delivery initiatives, provide hands-on engineering leadership, and help build secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-supported systems. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software solutions that make appropriate use of modern technology and enterprise standards. Translate business requirements into practical technical designs, implementation plans, acceptance criteria, and delivery estimates. Develop secure, scalable, maintainable code across application services, APIs, integrations, automation, batch processing, and data-oriented workloads. Collaborate with architects, platform teams, security partners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to validate designs and delivery approaches. Lead or contribute to implementation, testing, release, operational readiness, and production support activities. Maintain currency in technology trends and continuously improve personal and team engineering practices through research, education, experimentation, and knowledge sharing. Accountable for the design, development quality, testability, release readiness, operational readiness, and supportability of assigned deliverables. Responsible for guiding estimates and implementation approaches when working with developers, product owners, and delivery partners. Expected to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and providing leadership within agile delivery environments. Interacts directly with business partners to clarify requirements, explain solution options, support adoption, and provide training or knowledge transfer where required. REQUIREMENTS: Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent education and professional experience. 7+ years of professional software development experience, including experience in a senior developer, lead developer, or technical lead capacity. Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, software architecture, secure coding, testing strategies, and modern software delivery practices. Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with practical experience building APIs, services, integrations, automation, or enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with cloud-native and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based delivery workflows, automated testing, code quality tooling, and release automation. Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools to improve developer productivity, accelerate prototyping, support code generation, assist with testing, and review outputs critically for quality, security, maintainability, and compliance. Experience with cloud and container technologies such as Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, application registrations, secrets management, and infrastructure as code. Ability to communicate effectively with technical professionals and non-technical business partners, including presenting solution options and explaining trade-offs clearly. Ability to work independently, prioritize work, meet deadlines, support production issues, and contribute to a collaborative agile team environment. Experience with cloud-deployed enterprise applications, microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs, workflow orchestration, or data platform integrations. Experience with tools and platforms such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Terraform, Ansible, Azure, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, React, or Angular.
