As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking for a driven, customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to join our Technology team. Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 Position Type: Current Vacancy The Role You will be the first point of contact for IT issues across the company. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and you will own the IT side of employee onboarding and offboarding, making sure every new hire has a seamless first day and every departure is handled securely. You will work independently, managing incoming requests through our ticketing system and escalating anything beyond your scope. What You Will Do User onboarding and offboarding: Set up new user accounts, access permissions, and hardware/software configurations; conduct IT orientation for new employees; and ensure timely deactivation of accounts, retrieval of hardware, and removal of access when employees depart. Technical support: Provide first-level support via phone, email, and in person; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on Windows platforms; and install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and peripherals. Systems and tools: Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems; track and resolve requests through our SupportBench ticketing system; and assist with updates, patch management, and routine maintenance. Documentation and inventory: Maintain accurate hardware inventory and software licence records, coordinate equipment shipments, and document procedures, FAQs, and user guides. Security and compliance: Follow IT security protocols and data protection standards, report potential risks or vulnerabilities, and support audits and access reviews. What You Bring A minimum of 1 year of experience providing IT support and/or related schooling. Confidence working with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365. Ability to support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, VPN, and printers is an asset.
