Senior Cloud Engineer

Required Skills Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot. Extensive experience in REST API development and Microservices Architecture. Hands-on experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and deployment management. Experience with JUnit and automated testing frameworks. Strong experience with Oracle and Sybase databases. Experience working with Google Spanner (or equivalent distributed databases). Expertise in writing, tuning, and optimizing stored procedures. Hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis. Strong understanding of cloud-native application design and scalable production systems. Experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills. Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments. Nice to Have Banking or Financial Services domain experience. Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines. Knowledge of GCP cloud services beyond GKE. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Exposure to Kafka or Event-Driven Architecture. Experience with OpenShift or other container platforms. Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Experience leading distributed teams and technical delivery. Familiarity with AI/GenAI tools, frameworks, and automation initiatives. Cloud certifications (GCP, Kubernetes, PCF, or related technologies).

The role involves designing and deploying scalable cloud-native applications using Microservices and container orchestration. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, optimizing databases, and managing the full software development life cycle in an Agile environment.

Candidates must have strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes, with experience in both PCF and GKE. Expertise in relational and distributed databases, as well as monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace, is required.
