Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer- IAM Location: Fully Remote Role in Canada Duration: 05+ Months Contract with Possible Extension Pay Range: $65-$68 CAD Per Hour on T4 Project Overview: • We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Contractor to support our Authn B2C Login team. The primary goal of this engagement is to enhance our customer login journey by integrating and optimizing social connections. In this role, you will leverage NodeJS, React, and Postgres/MongoDB databases. We value contractors who are adaptable and proactive in recommending the right tools for the job, and capable of jumping right in to improve the user experience. Key Deliverables & Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (including design and product teams) in an agile environment to build and deliver best-in-class UX features. • Design, develop, and implement features related to social connection providers and APIs. • Evaluate and integrate new technologies and social connection vendor SDKs to optimize current practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and bugs in partnership with internal teams. Core Requirements: • 5+ years of demonstrable software development experience. • Proven ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fully remote, collaborative setting. • Strong expertise in building elegant, accessible user interfaces. • Extensive hands-on experience with HTML/CSS, React, and Typescript/Javascript. • Proficiency with Node.js and building/consuming RESTful APIs. • Solid experience utilizing testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. • A strong sense of project ownership, high attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points): • 1+ years of specific experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. • A strong understanding of application and cloud security best practices. • Prior experience in integrating major social connection SDKs (e.g., Google, Facebook, Microsoft, X). • A track record of successfully delivering large-scale, highly reliable, and secure features to end-users. • A strong understanding of AI assisted coding techniques

Develop and optimize customer login journeys by integrating social connection providers and APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality UX features and resolve technical bugs.

Requires over 5 years of software development experience with strong expertise in React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Candidates should have a proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting and a focus on accessible user interfaces.
