Description: The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership in the area of developing engine & hybrid control system strategies. Experience in either propulsion system control development and/or calibration is desired. The candidate should be experienced in engine controls, hybrid controls, engine systems development, calibration and FE/emissions testing. The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced environment. The Engine Systems Engineer is responsible for both individual technical project deliverables, coordinating activities and bringing projects to successful conclusions. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an ABET accredited university * 1-5 years of total experience in engine system controls/calibration development * Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control and calibration development projects * Demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics, engine regulatory requirements and engine OBD * Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods * Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability * Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork * Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire. Requirements
Candidates must have a STEM degree from an ABET accredited university and 1-5 years of experience in engine system controls or calibration. Demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics, regulatory requirements, and control algorithm development is required.
